In Word 2000, while executing a mailmerge under program (written in Visual
FoxPro 7.0) control, my merge result contains only the words:

Word found locked fields during the update. Word cannot update locked
fields.

I have individually highlighted all merge fields and pressed Shift-Ctrl-F11.
I have no reason to believe my form letter contains a drawing canvas. What
other things should I look for to try and resolve the problem?
