www.news2news.com/vfp has been an excellent source for FTP code needed in creation of an application to upload and download files using an internet connection!

I now would like to take the application to a new 'level'? allowing dial-up directly to the FTP server from the client and allow the file transfers (no internet connection required)...

User starts app:
1) Secured Dial-Up Connection is established.
2) LIST, UNLOAD, and DOWNLOAD menu selections initiate appropriate FTP command.
...

How can I FTP to known IP that is currently ping-able after Dial-Up connect?
