>Thanks a mil, the article was really helpful. I created a batch file to copy the files needed and register them in the background then load my program and it works well. What i want to know is, how to run a executable from my program without having the big black fox command window poping up ?

What you need is the Windows Script Host. Think of them as batch files for Windows, but on steroids. John Koziol and I posted launcher program written that can be generated by VFP for the WSH and its available in the download section.

Go to www.vfug.org, and read the five part series that Ed Rauh and I wrote on the WSH. It's written from a VFP perspective so we don't cover everything about it. The series began in September, 2000. From there, if you're going to write scripts, then you'll need to either learn or be familiar with either VBScript or JScript. If you're familiar with VB, it's pretty easy to pick up VBScript.
