As tracy said, the
www.west-wind.com message board is the best place for questions. However, here are a couple of guide lines
1) in the shareware version you can not compile the project. To create and EXE you will have to have the full version. You can , however, run web apps by running the project from within VFP.
2) use WIN2k pro with IIS for you development machine if possible. Win 98 and personal webserver will work but are very questionable when trying to run script files.
3) Run "do console" from the command box in VFP. build a new project following the help "step by step" instructions provided by Rick. When completed and you are running the connection server just created you should be able to run the default.html page that the setup wizard creates.
4) use the help system the WWC provides to learn the basics. Cut and paste out the code that is in the help to see how the code interacts with the web browser.
5) get over to the message board at west-wind.com and post questions. Like here, people on that board are VERY willing to help.
This is how I started and it worked well for me.
