I did this with VFP 3.0 and gave a demo to some VB guys I worked with. They had no concept of what they saw. It was really funny to see how these guys reacted. Like what? When a VB'er wants an activeX control, they just head for the advertisements and buy one, at least the guys I knew did. :)
