I have been working with the product on my own. I have posted some things and have an article that has been submitted for publication..
Ignoring .NET and any other technology for a moment, my focus has been on Fox, where it is and where it is going and how the rest of the world perceives it. My argument is not that people should blindly go to .NET per se. Rather, people should take stock of where VFP is, how it is marketed and the marketing strategy to the community vs. the product itself.
I will not let you or Steve try to re-frame my stance as one that soley preaches .NET. While I happen to think that .NET is a good bet, as long as a VFP developer - as far as the product concerns, has information that properly differentiates what is being done for the community as opposed to the product -that is my goal.
While I think I know more about .NET than I do not claim to be a .NET expert nor have I claimed to be a .NET expert. Whether I am an expert or a raw novice with .NET, my underlying points about VFP - which is my primary focus - still hold water..
It is clear this thing is getting personal, and with that, I think I will let this be the last word on the matter....
