My dad was in the Marine Corp and "visited" many of the "lovely" South Pacific Islands during WWII, and he ate a lot of Spam. He said he would never eat it again. We did not have a can of the stuff in the house. When I lived alone I ate some - once! What was it? :( No, please do not tell me.
