Tom,

>>>My dad was in the Marine Corp and "visited" many of the "lovely" South Pacific Islands during WWII, and he ate a lot of Spam. He said he would never eat it again. We did not have a can of the stuff in the house. When I lived alone I ate some - once! What was it? :( No, please do not tell me.

>Is it animal, vegetable or mineral? No! It's Spam! I know a guy that eats fried slices of Spam and fries eggs and loves it! Oh well - someone has to keep up sales of the product.
My wife really likes Spam as well. She'll fry a couple pieces for herselve every so often. I actually don't mind it but it's usually a little too salty for me...
Best,
DD
