Aside from other xBase legacy develpoment environments like Visual Objects for Clipper and Visual dBase, you might be correct. However I wonder how much value this has, you still have to learn a new language. Is learning VB.NET going to be much easier than for example Delphi ? I don't know. One thing is certain, you skills are portable, your existing projects (and investments in code) are not.
