The location: /opt/mozilla/plugins
The procedure:
Download the Macromedia file for Linux (tar) from their website and follow the install instructions at the bottom of the web page:
http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash
You may have to cut & paste them into a text document because you'll be closing Mozilla to install the plugin.
