I've had several friends visit Russia and they come back saying the same thing!

Lot's of highly educated folks from many countries flee to the USA for higher incomes and a more plush life style. Most do very well, if they can pass certifications in their disciplines.

Your 'mafia' used to run your country when it was the USSR, but when that government broke down they fled into the private sector.

Our mafia has moved from the private sector into the public sector - congress, and our government officals have an incesteous relationship with big business.

You are at no disadvantage to us. Our educational system has followed a similar route. We have children fathering and giving birth to children and all persue drugs.

Where I work we have a hard time finding folks who will/can work. It is as if the majority of them quit school at the 6th grade.
