Ooo, that's an odd one. Coz I'm using ADO to get my data, I don't have any distinction between numeric and currency. I just get what I'm given. Oh well, c'est la vie. I'll just have to be vigilant in my code.

I sorted out my error handling problem. I didn't realise that the error handler is global (I can't say I like it either) and so if I have procedure 2 called from procedure 1 an error in procedure 2 fires in procedure 1. My error handler was in 2, not 1. I wish they'd explain that somewhere. Mind you I don't suppose they have VB programmers in mind when they write these things.
