>I've done this more than once: Log on then realize that what I wanted to do was do the "Last Logon" option. Since I didn't, now I don't see all the messages I wanted to and have no way to do so. I try to use the 1 - 4 buttons in the toolbar, but can't quite understand what the result sets are because sometimes it will show messages I've already seen and other times it seems not to.

Renoir,
PUTM have the "time warp" option. For us others, there are some interesting options, like seeing messages for a specific date and filtering for new threads, looking at active threads for the last two days, looking for unanswered messages within the last 10 days.
Messages for a certain day typically return about 400 hits. I want to see, say, messages after 17:00 UTC, since that is when I last logged in. This, I believe, isn't completely solved, even with time warp. I have to weed through all messages for a day, since they are sorted by category, not by datetime.
