Tracy,
I don't remember if all of the ones I indicated are really needed. I don't have a clean machine available at the moment, so I cannot test it.

>Thanks Daniel, I'll have to check because I am using Wise with VFP7. Do you know which one SPECIFICALLY i need to have registered?

>>Tracy,
>>Sounds like a registration problem. Which version of VFP are you using? If you're using VFP6, make sure you check [x] Microsoft Animation Control 6.0 (SP4) from the ActiveX controls... dialog (in the setup wizard). In VFP7, I have the following settings in InstallShield Express Objects/Merge Modules:
>>
>>[x] Microsoft Common Controls 2 ActiveX Control DLL (FileName: MSCOMCT2.MSM)
>>[x] Windows Common Controls ActiveX Control DLL (FileName: MSCOMCTL.MSM)
>>[x] Windows Common Controls ActiveX Control DLL (FileName: COMCTL32.MSM)

>>[x] Microsoft Component Category Manager Library (FileName: COMCAT.MSM)

>>>Hi again Daniel,
>>>I've implemented the code below with my own avi file successfully on W2k machines. However, when I installed my app onto a Win98 machine, I get a 'OLE ERROR CODE C383928fek... invalid class string' error message during frmanimation.load event. I'm assuming this is because the addobject comand requires MsComCtl2, correct? However, I do not have a MsComctl2.ocx on my system. I have mscomctl and mscomct2 and mscomm32 but no mscomctl2. Why does it work on the W2k systems then? Any ideas?
>>>TIA,
