Thank you for the information. When I reviewed the installer, I found that I had included the MSVCR70.MSM module. I rebuilt it and tried again. the module is included, the treeview is missing and I get the same error message -- so it is something else. Is there anything in the error message itself which could point to the. I have not been able to find an explanation of the error code or the source of Record 816. Do any of these point to logs?
