I keep a folder containing all the files I need in a shared folder on the server. Before starting the application, I synchronize the server folder with the local folder. So if I have new files or updated files they are copied. You can do it with a simple batch file. Reading the INI, decrypting the data in it and create the DSN take less than a second!
