I had problems with Autoyield before, and something with DOEVENTS() was supposed to make it work, but that didn't seem to do it either, as I recall. Anyway, you had another suggestion to put NODEFAULT in the ActiveX control. This basically accomplishes the same thing, keeps the ActiveX control code from running.
