If you figure that one out, let me know. Best as I can figure out, if there is a set of fields that COULD be empty, put it in it's own section, a supressed section won't print blank space. Although in my application, it's actually better that it DOESN'T shrink, the reports being produced go to judges in the county court system, and even if 3/4 of a page is blank, they seem to prefer that, which means section x of the report always starts on page y, regardless of the amount of previous information. If the report actually shrank based on empty sections, they would ahve to actually read the report to find what they are looking for.
