The idea is that DBI-Tech completely redesigned the Treeview. They probably built an ActiveX control with some programming language like C++ or Delphi.
You don't need source-code for that - you only need to look at the TreeView, find out what it is supposed to do, duplicate that, and improve on it.
Pressumably, Microsoft didn't need somebody else's source code to design the original TreeView, either.
