OK Foxperts, here's the challenge:

User A reports "My labels are printing off the left side" (version 3.1a)
Check with more users, and some answer - "Yes, we are printing real close to the left side, and sometimes a character or two is off the left side."
Modify label/report file - squeeze stuff closer together, and shift about 1/8 inch to the right. Recompile and release version 3.1b.
User B reports "My labels are printing off the right side" (version 3.1b)

Is there something that I can add to a program that will enable Users to shift their label reports left or right based on the output they are seeeing, rather than trying to find a happy median where some see a wider left or right margin but nobody has 'off-the-label' problems?
