Hi. Thanks for helping me hit the books and that solved my problem.

I double-checked Programmer's Language Ref Manual under TTOC() and added
",1" to the TTOC command such as TTOC(mytable.mydate,1) and then the seek on the index worked. I also had to go into the index of the table and modify it the same way.

I understand it is not a good idea to use ALLT() in an index expression. Why is it not a good idea to use ALLT() in an index expression? I think someone told me that before, but I don't think it ever caused me a problem. I can remove it and see what happens when I do a seek.
