While I *guess* that it simply didn't get fixed (yet, or in time for the SP), there really is no way to even know that it is on the work list (or not).

There is a section in the KB for bugs/fixes/info/docerr/etc BUT extremely few of the many many bugs that have been reported here are in THAT list.

One bug that was reported far earlier, and looks easier to resolve, is ATC() with a search-for of greater than 254 characters. Not in the SP (documented or otherwise) and not in the list as a bug. Yet reported by at least 3 people.
