Bob,

>I have run into a problem I have never seen before. I have an app that compiles cleanly, but whenever I try to generate an EXE file, it's get partway into creating the exe (in fact it does create it at about 8K) but then I get a message:

I have seen this one before, while compiling an EXE with COM classes in it. I don't know if it is related to COM or not, but I think it maybe ended up being something corrupted in the project table -- sorry I can't remember exact details.

You might just for kicks try starting with a fresh project and rebuilding to see if the problem disappears.
