Thanks for your comments. I guess that's what I'm curious about; the whole picture from a source that is not just results from a survey. I believe we in the US (or at least myself) take for granted the things we have. Making somewere between $5,000 and $10,000 per month, having not one, but three computers (1 at work, 2 at home) and the freedom to find work relatively easily.
I've never experienced a depression. Just trying to gain some perspective...
