I did some more testing and, here's more confusion to add to the problem.

On my local pc this method works if I run it from the maim prg. If I run it from the exe created from the main prg, it doesn't work..............!

It looks like Crystal Reports is the problem, not Word.

What's even more confusing is that I have a similar method in another form and it works fine either way.........

This has got to be something simple, I'm just not connedting the dots.
