Jeff,

Apparently, even having a version of Shell32.dll later than the version mention and adding the registry value mentioned in the KB article (are you listening Garrett Fitzgerald?) doesN'T work. I'm running Win2K Pro SP2 and the Shell32 version is 5.00.3515.2902. I manually added the registry key but still no joy.

I also found MSKB#Q287676. That states that if you hold down the shift key when mapping with the Explorer, you can stop this behavior. That doesn't work either, but ctrl+shift does.

While I really doubt it, I'm going to try using SendKeys to send a ctrl+shift combo right before I try to use the WSH to map.
George
