Its a Word2000 bug (MSKB). Seems that when you add page breaks using a macro/automation, sometimes the page numbering gets screwed up. The workaround is to call the "ActiveDocument.Repaginate" method. Phew!

It is from Word's help-about dialog. I was just making the point that the copy of Word is from Office that came with my Dell machine.
