Walter for the first, an MSI packagage with minimum ore none dialogs helps.
For a silent installation in admin mode - not with crippled Instalshield.
Maybe the full version allows more control.
If not - an MSI is nothing then a relational data. Build what is needed on files and so with Installshield for VFP and manipulate the MSI, using the MSI SDK from MS. ORCA is not state-of-the-art but after you run through the examples something goes better.
Installshield is nothing than an wrapper.
There is also an interface to access msi from other programms. (All relational data ... - <g>)
It is always a good idea to have this sdk to look behind the scene to understand what is possible with msi.
