Hi,
I have an multi-user network application and want to protect it from being copied to another PC or network. So I have an VFP database on a network and an application using this database. If a user copies the application and database to a local PC and uses the correct path settings he will be able to run the application on the local machine. We want to protect this kind of application steeling but don't know how !!
Does anyone have an idea for it ?????
We already tried it by using the registry but on a file server there is no registry. We also tried it by using the volume name of the file server but installing it on an windows shared network this also delivers some problems.
So can anyone help us in the right direction ??
