I don't doubt you, and, believe me I sympathize. I have seen plenty of times where a specific problem was resolved by changing code slightly in a way that made no real sense.

In my experience such things are usually 'internal' timing problems and not susceptible to logical anyalysis. I am glad you were able to solve these odd-ball problems by moving code from the Load() to the Init().

However that is, of itself, no reason to make such a sweeping generalization as "LOAD is BAD, INIT is GOOD" which is, in effect, what you said. All I was trying to do was to lighten the impact. Remember that there are an awful lot of less experienced people around here who may take such statements from people like yourself too literally.
