>Exactly! I changed jobs after 7 years so I could be home evenings (mostly on average anyway) to be with my daughter while she is still young enough to enjoy having me around! Even with all of my pet peeves since, the tradeoff was DEFINITELY worth it.

Our son and daughter grew up so fast I cannot believe it! 23 and 21. Seems like five minutes. I think being with your family is important. A balanced life and all that.

Our Priest was telling us about a business executive who is a member of our Church who said he wanted to spend more time with his family. He wanted to reduce his work week from 80 hours to 60. I wish him luck. Seems we have some choices we can make in life. People make choices and do not consider the consequences until it is too late. Gee – “I did it for the family”. What family?
