Yep that is the way I had to go. The click works as long as the user clicks the page tab. If you use the left and right arrow, the click does not fire. While I did not use your chameleon class, I did create my own class with to use the UIEnable event to set the colors.

It uses the UIenable() event and supposed to be dropped on each page. Not exactly that you want on the PageFrame level, but it needs only to be added to the page, which could be done in PageFrame.Init()
