I'd like to add PowerPoint XP (2002) to the Office XP Small Business Edition that came with my laptop computer. A PowerPoint 2002 upgrade license (by itself, not bundled with Office XP) is available at local stores for a reasonable price, but the box indicates that the install will search the computer for Office 97 or Office 2000 with no mention of any flavor of Office XP. It seems reasonable that it should work, but I'd like to know for sure before spending the money on the upgrade. Does anybody know if the PowerPoint XP upgrade will install on a machine with only Office XP SBE on it, and no previous version of Office or PowerPoint?
