>yeah true !! but we removed all our login script which were mapping some groups to their corresponding folders but we faced the problem of logging in ... users used to error message. i dont exactly remember the message but i searched on sites and it was a known problem coz of login scripts

You have to help yourself a bit! Every suggestions I made were defeated! Do you change your server this often? Do you know that when you change a server, you can give the exact name to the new one?
