Several things can affect image display speed (forgive me if you've already checked these). First, you can make sure you preload the images so that the mouseover images are loaded when the page is loaded - so they're cached. Second, make sure you have the width and height defined for all images even if they're shown full size. If you have a sample posted, some of us can check it out.

As you can imagine and probably already know, the client browser doesn't care what generates the HTML - VFP or otherwise - so it's probably just a matter of tuning the returned code.

>I just discovered something string with images and WWC. Assuming a certain code is being generated by VFP to be returned to WWC. That code contains some HTML to do some mouve over effect on certain images. In that code, I used the same approach as I used in a standard ASP page. Thus, normally, when moving the mouse over an image, the image for the over effect will appear. However, I just discovered that the same HTML being generated under WWC makes the images to appear slower. If I do View Source as and save that HTML page under a file name on the server and run that page directly, the images will appear in a flash. Why is that?

"Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?"
I think so Brain, but "Snowball for Windows"?
