Are you aware that you must be running on an oriental Version of Windows to take advantage of many of VFP's oriental capabilities? I am running English versions of Windows and VFP (all of 98/NT/2K/XP) and work in Cyrillic. If you mean the Arabic languages - yes, I am aware that there are problems with RTL languages in English versions of Windows. But I believe that they are not "imposible to solve"
Are you also aware that there are Chinese localizations of VFP? Being a Technical Director in a Microsoft Certified Partner firm is enough as an answer. I am aware of all the latest Microsoft technologies.
Are you trying to make Chinese display with a western version of Windows/VFP? Are you also aware that you can do Chinese localizations without using Unicode? Double Yes. About the unicode - with your approach if anyone want to translate from German messages to Russian ones, it will be not easy(possible). Correct me if I am wrong and it is possible with INTL. I don't understand your situation and what you are trying to do. Will say it simple - want to work under English version of Windows and VFP (There is no Bulgarian localization and I donot want to use the Russian one). Want to have comments of code in cyrillic and make multilingual applications for the enterprise - Germany, New Zealand, China, etc.
