Do you mean 6 tablespaces or 6 instances?

Most servers can usually only handle 1 instance at a time.
Likely the database is too small in memory size to create 6 different instances (6 occurances of the oracle services).

You should probably try to use different tablespaces andd user names
instead of different instances?

What is the command you are using?
