I am not sure about that.
It is my understanding that, to connect to the Access database, you will need Access ODBC drivers on the computer -- but not the full blown Access software. These ODBC drivers may already be installed on the computer as part of the regular Windows install (you can check that on the Control Panel.) If they are not there, then you may need to copy them manually, but they are freely distributable.
