Installation, Setup and Configuration
Brett, we've found the full edition of ISE (not the VFP limited) able to do pretty much everything. Installshield Professional uses scripting, I believe, instead of the wizard interface, so, it may require a bigger learning investment. I would download a trial of Installshield Pro before buying...
>>In addition what Claude says, you also need to include the VC7 runtimes with VFP7 installs.

>>>Has anyone compared a the file sizes created by the VFP 6 Setup Wizard to create a Web Setup versus the new ISE VFP 7 Web Setup. It seems to me that the setup.exe created by ISE is quite a bit larger than what was create by VFP 6. Has anyone noticed that in their application setups?

>I talked it over with the other programmers here and we decided to put in the requisition for Install Shield professional. That way we can stop worrying about what ISE's limitations are and get on with the VFP 7 conversion. I personally think that is what MS is pusing us to do anyway. ISE can get the job done, but is still very limited (but so was the setup wizard).
