If I remember correctly, I had that problem when the view was not set to update the table. Check your view settings.

>Using cListObjEdit, when Add is pressed it brings up the EditForm. I enter the data on the form, press OK, and the form remains on the screen. When Edit is pressed, I change the data, press OK and the form goes away. Why is the form not going away when a new record is added?
