Is there a way to use directx from within Visual foxpro to let the speakers or a headset prduce a specific tone like 250Hz, 500Hz, 1000Hz etc at a specifix Volume without going to Visual Basic.
Does anybody has the function description for directx.

OR is there another way?? I have to go through the soundcard, because i have the need to use a headset. Via the systemspeaker there is no problem with the Beep(1000,1000) when having declare Beep to be a long in kernel32.dll
