Yup it's been tested on 3.0 -> 7.0. I wrote what you see on the wiki, although I "stole" the beginning of this code from a Rick Strahl FP Advisor Article (6/96-Tips,Tricks,Traps p.16), and Cindy kindly posted it for me.
