Jerry;
A possible conflict between countries is inevitable for many reasons and is not limited to economic policies, religion, politics, emotion, hatred, and the list goes on. How anyone will perceive assistance is a question regardless of how it is given or for what reason. There are people that would kill you for trying to save his/her life. Innocent people die every day. Sometimes a “cause” is taken up to save one area, country or people. That is nice but there is a big world out there in need of help. No one has published a list of needy people in the world. That list is very selective and changes each second.
A few years ago I noticed the television national news would report 5 wars going on in the world. In reality there were 53 wars going on at that point in time. The other 48 were not news worthy. They would not sell. After about one year the emphasis on the 5 wars shifted to different countries. This left me with the question, “What happened to the 5 wars being reported”? I guess they had been resolved but in reality they had not.
We cannot help the entire world nor can anyone else. We continue to try and receive mixed results. You might say this is like trying to hold back the tide with your hands. Good luck!
Tom
