< Even here, in the USA, the latest drugs are losing their effectiveness due to mutations of the virus. The AIDS community has spent a large amount of time and money selling to the public the idea that AIDS wasn't communicable. If they are correct then what your story says is that folks are spreading that disease by their behavior behavior, not some western plot aimed at genocide. Now, in South Africa for example, infants and babies are the targets of sexual assult because the preditors believe they are AIDS free. All the money in the world won't cure that epidemic because it is being spread by diliberate behavior. />

It's not communicable. If it was, we'd all have it. However, I do agree that it was and largely spread by behavior. The AIDS community never denied that. What they said was that the behaivor wasn't immoral. And now of course, AIDS has stuck everywhere.

I agree hat all the money in the world won't cure AIDS. But, while there is money going towards reserch to find a cure, there is also plently of money trying to change people's behavior. It's not working in Africa, and it has mixed results here in America. Europe seemd to have been successfull. But, Europe never had a problem taking about sex. We Americans do. Especially to our kids. It's like we change as we get older. We forget what it was like when WE were young. And we lie, hide, or ignore things from our kids. Either we think "That will never happen to my kid" or we give up.

We teach our kids that greed is good. We've built an entire culture on greed. There are a million people working on Wall Street who wouldn't have thought twice doing what the exec's at Enron did. In fact a lot of them already have. And we admire it.
