Hi again,

I've removed the listview from the form a guess what... the form releases properly. The listview gets populated from a system codes file and allows checking off multiple selections.

I've applied the "Take it apart, put it back together" approach and it still doesn't release properly. CLEAR ALL kill's it dead, but you'd expect that eh? My listview wrapper is simple, straight forward and self-contained - so I don't suspect any outside references are holding things up. It definately has something to do with releasing the active-x object. I explicity released the object reference in the form release but still - the form remains.

Does anyone know of any differences in the Active-X wrappers between 6 & 7 that could point me in some direction? The flat spot on my forehead is getting bigger all the time!
