What triggers the strange behavior is if just prior to selecting the button, I do something that causes our message dialog to appear (like trying to print a report with nothing selected). Once a dialog has appeared .. from that point on, I observe the scrolling picture behavior. If I exit the form and reselect it from the menu, the behavior is reset to normal again .. at least until I receive another message dialog.

Hi Cathy,

I have not seen this and have no idea of the cause, but just as a guess for a workaround, have you tried issuing a Refresh() on the form or maybe just the affected controls after the dialog to see if that "fixes" it?
