We are running VFP 5.0 and Visual Sourcesafe 6.0 on Windows2000 machines. When we open a project through FoxPro that is connected to VSS it takes a very long time for the project to open. Has anyone out there had any similar problems or able to offer some advice. We have tried a number of things and can't seem to figure out exactly what the problem is. Does anyone know just how VSS confirms a users security when opening a project? Maybe this is a security issue.
