Yes and no. I've got a RH7.2 box running MYSQL that I collect data from an HTML document using PHP (through a VFP form). The data is then "harvested" from the MYSQL table via Internet/SQL to a VFP client.

The harvest operation is the slowest part, taking up to 30 seconds to make the connection, then execute the SQL Get, then transmit a few hundred records (with 22 fields per record) to the VFP client.

If you were doing this locally (no Internet) I would expect the performance to improve dramatically. I do not have experience writing to the MYSQL from VFP via the Internet, but will be looking into this setup later this year.
