Figured it out.
I had:
oCon.ConnectionString = [Provider=VFPOLEDB.1;Data Source=o:\smtsdata
\resh.dbf;] + ;
[Mode=ReadWrite|Share Deny None;Password="";Collating Sequence=MACHINE]
When I removed the table name, it worked.
