FWIW, I've since discovered that when the moved class gets instantiated, the object does refer to the new library -- even though the class definition still points to the old library. So, everything works ok, just don't understand what's going on here.

>Well, it looks like this student could use a little assistance with something. I'm having trouble figuring out how moving a class from one library to another works. I have two libraries, one of my own, and one I got from a textbook ("1001 Things....") I'm using. I want to use some of the neat control classes in my own application. I have both libraries in my project. I know to drag and drop from one to the other. However, sometimes when I drag and drop, the class library property changes to the new library, and other times it retains the old library reference. It looks to me like the base classes change, but the classes built on the base classes refuse to change the library reference.
